Celt, Druid and Culdee V

Glastonbury
The Culdees or refugees, were the first Christians fled to Britain from the Roman persecution.

Once there, they were given land by Arviragus and founded the Glastonbury church, the Domus Dei, the burial place of the Saints.

Their doctrines shared much in common with the Druids, which explains why Christianity was accepted in the country so quickly.
